We’re a mum, sister and two brothers with families living in Bristol, Taunton and London. We’ve owned the property at Oakridge for over sevens years. We love to use it but don’t get as much chance as we’d like.

We’d been looking for a holiday home for a while and were pretty stunned when we stumbled across the Oakridge estate. For us it's the perfect mix between a tranquil countryside location, being close to beaches and having some leisure facilities on our doorstep. Two of us are keen golfers so we were naturally drawn to the great golf at St. Mellion, but the rest of the family enjoy it just as much as we do.

We’ve had golf weekends, boys’ holidays, girls’ breaks and spent lots of time down here with our kids (we've got four between us). We never tire of it, and always seem to find something new every time we’re down here.

In fact, we think this bit of Cornwall is a bit of a hidden gem. It doesn’t get the hype or visitors numbers of other parts of Cornwall but we think it’s all the better for it.
