12 Oakridge is a three bedroom detached cottage designed by a local architect and built using local materials. It’s got an ‘upside down’ design (the bedrooms are on the ground floor) and the floor to ceiling windows upstairs make best use of the views and light all year round. There’s a lovely wood fireplace that helps make it feel cosy in Winter and loads of room in the upstairs open plan kitchen, dining and living space.

front of property looking up from car parking area

The cottage lies in a lovely courtyard setting of gardens and a pond alongside four other properties. Being furthest away from the car park (it's still only a 20 second walk to the front door!), it benefits from having a larger private outside space at the back than some of the other cottages.

main bedroom

Two of the bedrooms have double beds, the other has twins. Each one has an ensuite bathroom and there's ample storage, including a full length built-in cupboard in one of the rooms.

open plan kitchen area

The kitchen is open plan and fitted with integrated appliances - electric oven, induction hob, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and combination microwave oven.

decking area at back of property

At the back there’s a large south-facing decked terrace that looks out to tranquil woods and has a table, chairs, parasol and BBQ.

view over golf course from front verandah

A small verandah at the front with a table and chairs looks out over the golf course. You can see the 13th and 14th holes of the Nicklaus course just beyond the tree line in front of the property (you can walk to the hotel and club house in about 15 minutes).

open plan living area with fireplace

The upstairs open plan living room, dining area and kitchen has full height glazing along one side that give you great views over the Jack Nicklaus designed 'Signature' golf course and surrounding countryside. There’s a fireplace where you can make an open fire.
